How to Care for a Breast Prosthesis

These cautions should be practiced to help prolong the life of your prosthesis.


Do not allow breast form to come in contact with any sharp instruments such as jewelry, needles, scissors, nail-files, knives, claws and so on.



Do not allow breast form to come in contact with chemicals like glue, nail polish remover or other strong chemicals.



Do not allow breast form to come in contact with iron, or other hot items.



Deformities can be caused by closing product into suit cases or dresser-drawers, bringing product in dryer or washingmachine or wringing the product. Wash product daily by hand with mild soap and warm water. Wipe dry with soft towel.
